Qld: Man charged with punching officer in face
A West Australian man will appear in a Queensland court today .. accused of punching
a police officer in the face after being pulled over for a breath test.
The officer stopped the 45-year-old driver on Eskdale Road at Toogoolawah .. north-west
of Brisbane .. about 11.30 on Saturday night.
After allegedly blowing over the limit .. and being told he'd be taken to the local
police station .. the man's accused of giving the officer a fat lip.
He'll appear in Ipswich Magistrates court today .. charged with serious assault ..
obstructing police .. and drink driving.
