Rees gives Rudd ironclad commitment to stimulus plans
SYDNEY, Feb 4 AAP - Premier Nathan Rees has given Kevin Rudd an iron clad guarantee
NSW will do everything possible to assist the prime minister's $42 billion nation building
and jobs plan.
Mr Rudd has warned states he'll adopt a "zero tolerance approach" to stop them simply
replacing their money for infrastructure projects with the federal stimulus package funds
in an attempt to fix their bottom line.
Ahead of a COAG meeting in Canberra on Thursday over the plan, Mr Rees said he would
do everything asked of him to ensure jobs were created …
