Queensbury Running a theme park is a lot like being a circus manager, but harder. A circus doesn't have to change acts, only audiences.

A theme park stays in one place, so in order to keep people coming back, management has to work constantly to create new rides or shows.

``We have to certainly keep our product fresh, maybe not by adding hardware, but new shows,'' said John Collins, vice president and general manager of Premier Parks' The Great Escape/Splashwater Kingdom in Queensbury, near Lake George.
